This is a competency course based on ICTTC 002C and designed as a high level Network Infrastructure Design Course, allowing a student to competently design a cabling infrastructure to AS/NZS standards.
This course is defined under the Australian Qualifications Training Framework (ATQF).
The 3-day or 6 evening DESIGN training course will enable you to understand interconnecting cabling requirements, identify solutions, and design the network infrastructure and services to ensure the functionality of the proposed solutions.
This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to achieve competency in network infrastructure design to ICTTC 002C and above.
This course is generic and not manufacturer specific.
By completing the course a student should be able to Discuss methodology in network infrastructure design.

Pre-Requisites
This is a high level Network infrastructure Design Course; Students should be working in a consultancy capacity or have worked on cabling infrastructures or have completed at least an Open Registration preferably with a Structured Cabling Endorsement.
Course Outcome
On successful completion of this course the student will be awarded a competency certificate ICTTC 002C-Prepare design drawings and specifications for cable installations.
